We Got Us is our national campaign celebrating the resilience, creativity, and collective care of Black communities. In 2026, as Black voters face another pivotal election season, the campaign reminds us that even when laws fail or resources are stripped away, we show up for each other.

Built on love, joy, and organizing together, We Got Us turns care into collective power, uplifts our people every day, and strengthens the movements that ensure no one is left behind.

OUR campaign focuses

Voting Rights

Black voters are still under attack.

We need candidates and policies that protect our right to vote, challenge gerrymandering, and stop restrictive laws that make it harder for our communities to register and cast a ballot.

Healthcare

Too many Black families go without affordable healthcare.

We need candidates who will expand Medicaid, reduce medical costs, and fight for equitable access so everyone in our communities can get the care they deserve.

Criminal Justice Reform

The system continues to punish Black communities through warrants, court debt, and over-policing.

We need leaders who will invest in community resources, end mass incarceration, and hold law enforcement accountable.

Education

Black students and schools are under attack from book bans, erasure of history, and underfunding.

We need candidates who will support HBCUs, protect accurate curricula, and ensure every child has access to quality education.

Data Centers & Environmental Justice

Black communities are facing new environmental threats from unchecked data center growth.

We need leaders who will ensure transparency, fair regulation, and community benefits so our neighborhoods aren’t left to bear the cost of corporate expansion.
